The Supple-Ballin Shipyards photographs collection includes 39 black-and-white photographic prints depicting the Portland, Oregon-based Supple-Ballin Shipyards Corporation from circa 1890 to 1920. While most images show the company's shipworkers and ships, the collection additionally features portraits of the company's founders including Joseph Supple, Joseph Valentine, and T. Henry Supple, as well as the company's baseball team. Boats photographed in the collection include the Hyak, the Bayocean, the Dalana, and the Centurion.
